Economic calendars compared
Most calendars tell you what is scheduled. Very few measure what markets actually did when it landed. Here is how When Markets Move compares with the tools traders already use, honestly.
vs Forex Factory
The free calendar most forex traders keep open. Great for what's on today; it doesn't measure how markets reacted.
vs Investing.com
A huge free calendar with alerts and an app. Star ratings are expected impact, not measured reaction.
vs TradingView
The best charts around, with a calendar built in. It shows events on your chart but doesn't calculate reactions.
vs Myfxbook
A free calendar that does show an average EUR/USD reaction per event. Useful, but one pair and one number.
vs FXStreet
A strong forex calendar with real reaction measures for major pairs. We cover more markets and the rand.
vs Trading Economics
Deep macro data and forecasts for 196 countries, sold mainly as an API. Not built around market reactions.
